Genocide Could Never Be a Single Issue
Palestine is the convergence of every crisis facing humanity.
We need to end the tired, false and disgusting talking point that is, “Palestine is a single issue.”
The statement is a massive red flag for the character that utters it.
It shows a disconnect from history, the world, the role of the USA in said world, and the ripple effect that emerges from the worst behavior humans can commit. If evil exists, there could be no greater or worse example of it than genocide and the crimes contained within it.
This will not be some large analysis… but rather a quick, simple, and obvious refutation of such a nonsensical self-serving sentiment.
Palestine is the convergence of all issues that humanity is facing. Quite literally the opposite of a single issue, it is the intersection of our global and societal issues.
Colonization in its contemporary form.
Ethnic cleansing with international support.
Apartheid, openly admitted by its perpetrators.
Religious justification for genocide.
Media propaganda and its ability to utilize false and/or incomplete narratives to manufacture consent.
The military-industrial complex and its profiteering off of a global arms network that requires war and devastation.
Surveillance capitalism that we export and test to bring back home.
The irrelevance of human rights and international law in the face of imperialism and its corporate interests.
Environmental degradation and collapse through warfare.
We can stop there, if you still don’t get it… I truly question your humanity and can only assume you simply don’t give a shit beyond your own self interest.
The good news for you? It’s a fairly common American trait so you’re right at home.
The irony? Your silence, apathy and inhumanity only spells your own doom… together we rise or alone we die.
Free Free Palestine!

Fr I feel like I'm not even from here I'm not the same. It's so hard to meet people who think like you or I I know there out there but not in the small town I'm in. Ugh.
